This was an evenly contested match for Buckby against a Hackleton team keen to avenge the defeat earlier in the season. Both teams started brightly and saw good spells of possession. Buckby enjoyed the downhill advantage in the first half and some good link up play led to a well taken goal by Brandon. Hackleton then came back in the second half and levelled the score when Buckby were left exposed at the back. In the dying minutes of the match, good Buckby pressure was rewarded with Ben brilliantly following up on a goalmouth clearance to hammer home the winner.
