Report

Buckby started off very confidently and passed the ball out to both wings effectively ensuring the Daventry Town team had to work hard to recover the ball.

It took less than 5 mins before Buckby had the ball in Daventry Town-s net claiming the first of seven first half goals. Kieran Russ was substituted early on to allow Callum Burston and Lewis Park to develop a centre half partnership for the first time this season. The defensive unit continued to stay calm and pass the ball out from the half way line making it almost impossible for Daventry to even enter our half let alone test out Nik in our goal mouth.

As the confidence in Buckby grew , the lack of confidence in Daventry Town grew . Scholsey hit two exceptional trade mark goals in the first half to demonstrate that he is back to his best. Coyle and Lewis E toyed with the Daventry defence by moving and releasing the ball early to one another which showed that when they play like that, there are not many striking partnerships as intelligent as them.

Goals continued to flow in the second half at a rate of one every 5 minutes and it was almost as if every shot at goal hit the back of the net .That was until Craig (Open Goal) Eales replaced Kelsey in the second half ,scored one fine goal and then took a shot at an open goal with in the six yard box sending the ball flying towards the corner flag!!

Kelsey ,Haydn and Sam enjoyed themselves out wide with Kelsey netting two goals. Harvey had a solid game and was replaced by Pidge just into the second half who launched a long range shot into the top right hand corner of the net.
